Ryvid is a new entrant in the electric moto game, combining the words “rhythm” and “avid” for its name. The focus is on both top-tier engineering and excellent design. First of all, the Anthem is light, weighing in at only 240 pounds. The frame is a mere 12 pounds, and the low weight can also be attributed to keeping functionality at the core. There’s a height-adjustable seat, a removable 4.3 kWh lithium-ion battery (75 mph top speed, up to 75 miles of range). The motor is enclosed in the rear swingarm, and it produces 53 lb-ft of torque but can send up to 250 lb-ft to the rear wheel in a burst of torque.
The Anthem also gets a 4.9-inch TFT display with all the relevant riding and efficiency data. The Ryvid Anthem Launch Edition will be limited to 1,000 units, with pre-orders starting on August 14th and deliveries expected next summer.
