Aston Martin’s latest is truly exclusive and truly unique. The stunning DBR22 just bowed at Monterey Car Week. The open top two-seater celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Q by Aston Martin bespoke division. The car draws its inspiration from the 1959 DBR1 and clearly bears the same ethos with its twin cowls and abbreviated windscreen. The carbon fiber body is complemented by a custom carbon fiber grille and a deep-set hood vent. Power comes from the V12 Vantage and takes the form of a twin-turbocharged 706 hp 5.2-liter V12 that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic. The DBR22 hit 60 mph h in 3.4 seconds and top out at 198 mph. Topping it off is a special bespoke paint color, and a rich interior with leather and exposed carbon fiber. This concept will give birth to a very limited number of examples priced “in the millions”. Good luck.
