The-Sound-of-Drawing-Amplified-Friction-Pencil

Art is, by nature, fluid. It takes virtually any form, utilizes different media, and can even change the way we see the world. Designer Takuma Yamazaki has taken the simple pencil and made it aural art via the “Sound of Drawing” Amplified Friction Pencil that takes the sound of writing or drawing with a pencil and magnifies it as it moves across the paper. The idea behind it is to turn the pencil into a type of musical instrument, adding dimension and a new source of creativity for those with hearing loss, as well for those with normal hearing. His original approach to drawing netted Yamazaki the coveted top prize at the Kokuyo Design Awards for 2018. No word on how loud the “Sound of Drawing” amplifies the crack of the lead breaking.

Whether at home or on-the-go, when it comes to vaporizers, we want it all. We want to be able to use full flower or potent concentrates depending on the mood–and keep it smooth without any harsh smoke. We want multiple modes for unique combinations of flavor and vapor. We want an oven that’s as easy to clean as it is adjustable depending on the length of the session. Sounds impossible, right? It’s not with PAX Plus. In addition to packing all those features into one perfectly portable device, it’s also one the most sleek and stylish products that’s come out recently.
