In the early 1940s, as the Second World War raged across Europe, Royal Enfield, a motorcycle production outfit, was tapped to create a bike that could be deployed via parachute behind enemy lines. That bike, the RE/WD 125, or, as it is more commonly known, The Flying Flea, went on to assist forces in some of the wars most notable battles. Now, Royal Enfield is honoring this iconic two-wheeler with the Classic 500 Pegasus Edition, which looks a lot like the trusted military motorcycle. Available in two different colorways, the new bike is adorned with the Pegasus insignia in honor of those paratroopers who fought in the war, easy to mount saddle bags, and a stenciled serial number on the fuel tank like the bikes of old.
