What does it take to turn a small vintage Japanese moto into a murdered out beauty that will turn heads today? About 550 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. French moto shop Panache Customs morphed the 1977 SX360 by using a classic wristwatch as inspiration. The iconic Rolex Daytona 16523 Zenith Phase Two. The gold, black, and silver Swiss chronograph translated to a motorcycle remarkably well, and the Smaug gets covered in black powder coat with golden orange and silver highlights. It also benefits further in the looks department with a new custom seat, new grips and handlebars, and polished aluminum mirrors. Performance enhancements were added to the bike to make it more performance-worthy, and the engine was fully restored along with a new custom master cylinder tank and a new exhaust. In the process, the bike dropped a substantial 57 pounds, which should prove itself on the pavement admirably.
