Secondly, that remote uses voice control via Google Assistant that allows you to search for shows or apps. The remote will also operate other Google devices in your home like NEST-compatible smarthome components. The remote also has dedicated YouTube and Netflix buttons, so little time is wasted to get your binge-watching on. The new Chromecast also has a built-in Android TV operating system that obviates the need for casting apps from your phone to the TV. Download apps directly to the device/TV, and no casting is required. There’s also Google TV that keeps everything organized front-and-center. Finally, the new Chromecast streams 4K content at up 60 frames per second and supports Dolby Vision HDR, as well as Dolby audio content. More COVID-19 shut-in for the foreseeable future? Bring it.
