Ever since we first laid eyes on a knife from the James Brand we knew we were going to like all of their future creations. There’s just something about the way they combine quality, durability and affordability with their unique style that makes every one of their knives a hit. Their latest, the Ellis, lives up the James Brand name and then some. It’s a partially serrated drop point blade housed in one of their clean handles with a bail loop that makes it easy to attach to anything. The big addition to the Ellis is the second folding and locking blade that functions as a combination bottle-opener, screwdriver, prybar and scraper, which makes this one tool capable of tackling many jobs. Here’s what founder Ryan Coulter had to say about it–“There are many instances when you need functions other than what a standard knife can offer, and those are the situations that the Ellis is built for.We wanted to keep it very minimal, but still make it highly functional.” Mission accomplished.
