But the 30 Years also gets an external shower, auxiliary heater, insulated double-pane windows for overnight warmth, pretty 17-inch wheels, special anniversary badging, and plenty of active and passive safety features. Only 999 of these recreational wonders will be made, and though the 30 Years van would be the perfect “westward ho!” transport here in the states, the painful irony lies in the fact that a van named “California” won’t be sold in America.
