There hasn’t been a single thing that has come out Love Hultén’s Gothenburg, Sweden studio in the past five years that we haven’t wanted to own. From the Battleship Arcade to the Arcade Coffee Table, the mad genius has this way of combining retro style and nostalgia with modern tech and bulletproof construction that always impresses. Case in point–his MTC Storage Cabinet inspired by Magnetic Tape Units, specifically the IBM 2401 from 1964. If you had asked us before today if we wanted a storage cabinet based on technology that’s essentially be obsolete for decades, the answer would have been no. After seeing the Hultén version complete with DC motors, blinking LEDs, rotating tape cassettes, and vintage computer sound samples (all the tech features are powered by an Arduino in the control box on top), the answer is now a resounding yes. Unfortunately, this was a commissioned piece so you’ll have to reach out to Hultén directly if you want one of your own.

Whether at home or on-the-go, when it comes to vaporizers, we want it all. We want to be able to use full flower or potent concentrates depending on the mood–and keep it smooth without any harsh smoke. We want multiple modes for unique combinations of flavor and vapor. We want an oven that’s as easy to clean as it is adjustable depending on the length of the session. Sounds impossible, right? It’s not with PAX Plus. In addition to packing all those features into one perfectly portable device, it’s also one the most sleek and stylish products that’s come out recently.
