If you’ve ever found yourself sitting alone at a Waffle House at 3 am chowing down on steak and eggs with a plate of waffles on the side, this is the book for you. Micah Cash’s “Waffle House Vistas” is now a hardcover book filled with photos taken from the inside of Waffle Houses all over the south. Each photo provides a unique view, and store numbers and cities accompany each one. There’s a forward by novelist Maurice Carlos Ruffin and an afterword from North Carolina writer Laura Bullard, as well as Cash’s writings and essays that give even more life to the photos. Just be careful since page-turning this book might just have you pining for a greasy plate of smothered hash browns.
