Finding a Ford Mustang Boss 429 in this condition doesn’t happen often. A mere 1,359 were made over the course of two years. This fully-restored 1969 version is just about perfect, and it’s clad in gorgeous Royal Maroon with a massive hood scoop that feeds air to the 429 cubic inch V8 engine that pumps out 370 horsepower. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The interior is black and pristine after the restoration, and parts like the KKX spindles, rear sway bar, and trunk-mounted battery were kept in order to present the car as closely to the original spec as possible. This rarity goes to auction. This tasty ‘Stang just sold at Barrett-Jackson’s most recent auction, and it sold for a whopping $280,500 no doubt due to its excellent restoration.
