Nokia has answered the call and has unveiled a new version of the iconic 8810 (the “banana phone”) seen in the sci-fi film. Announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress, the phone, which is actually made by HMD Global (Nokia doesn’t physically make phones any more), will allow for some app downloads and it will support 4G. But don’t get it twisted; this is not an iPhone or the new Galaxy S9. The Nokia 8810 will let you play Snake and end calls by sliding up the cover. Oh, and since it doesn’t need to power all those apps, the battery is said to last up to 25 days. Grab your long black trench coat and slip this phone in your pocket.
