Galen Leather Co. Notebook Folio
“When anyone asks me for a recommendation for a quality notebook cover or portfolio, I always say Galen Leather Co. I’m currently toting around their zippered notebook folio in Crazy Horse. Galen knows its audience better than most brands out there, perfecting their design for those who are as pen and stationery obsessed as me. The zippered folio has a removable insert for fountain pens, two additional pen slots, a removable keychain, and a cord wrap. It comes in A5 (the best paper size, don’t argue with me) and is made of a soft leather that patinas beautifully. It’s like my portable desk when I’m in bed and the first thing I’m packing on all the upcoming Summer trips I have planned. I love it. You’ll love it. Buy two and give me one.” Buy: $119
Offfield Athletic Gummies
“I’ve been a fan of Offfield’s CBD-infused hydration sticks for a while now. While skepticism abounds regarding the efficacy of CBD, Offfield’s quality-first approach means they offer products that only feature potent and effective cannabinoids. The brand just released Athletic Gummies, chewables that feature CBD, CBG, electrolytes, yerba matte, vitamins, and more. While I love the hydration powder, I’ve been looking forward to Offfield in gummy-form so I will be signing up ASAP.” Buy: $52
Tecovas The Knox Cowboy Boots
“I’m not the kind of guy who can get away with wearing cowboy boots, or at least I’m not very willing to try. Until now, that is. The Tecovas Knox bucks the classic heeled cowboy boot by subbing in a work boot-like Vibram 4014 wedge sole. The result is a more performance-minded and work-friendly look that’s right for the times. It also has soft bovine leather, a Goodyear welt, reinforced pull tabs, and a slightly rounded toe. They’re comfy straight out of the box, and I don’t look I’m getting gussied up for a rodeo.” Buy: $245
Astorflex Beenflex
“I’ve been wearing the hell out of my Clark Wallabees for a couple of years now and, while I love them, the wine and grease stains are making them a bit too unsavory. These Beenflex by Astorflex popped up on my Instagram feed and I hit the buy now button immediately. I’ve been seeing Astorflex on Huckberry for years, but never saw this style before. Loving how unstructured they are and the red laces add a nice touch.” Buy: $225
2SP Brewing Co. Up and Out IPA
“We turned our clocks forward a few weeks back and gained some light. The weather here on the east coast is creeping consistently above 50 degrees. Opening day of baseball is just around the corner. These all point to the days just feeling a bit better. My day starts in the morning, playing fetch with my dog Lenny and a cup of coffee in hand. With the days getting longer, it’s time to add an end-of-day fetch. Coffee won’t do, but I’ve found the best companion – 2SP Up and Out Hazy IPA. This beer can design first caught my attention, but I soon realized it has a far equally impressive substance. This all-weather beer has excellent color, some juicy flavor, and that tad perfection of bitter. Lenny’s tongue is out and happy. I’m feeling good winding down the day, and thoughts run through my head of the Phillies making a deep playoff run. End your day on a good juicy note here.” Buy: $12/6-Pack
